Biography
I was born in Cosenza (Italy) and studied at the Scuola Normale and the University of Pisa, where I graduated in Physics. I worked then in computer science and, always looking for the meaning of the world and life, I started traveling to meet other people and cultures.
Photography, initially memory of moments of travel, over time it becomes a notebook and took the form of an album: the 10x15 and 20x30 prints made up my personal report. Now I compose them in videos.
I studied photo techniques in books, learned the image composition from landscape painters (Constable and Canaletto) and portraitists (Flemish and Rembrandt), and the image content by listening to my emotions.
Magazines and newspapers publish my articles and images, but after for long-time photography becomes a story only for me and some few others: travel had become an exploration of my soul. Only some years ago I resumed showing my photos in public, and the images of the Countries I visited were particularly appreciated by their Embassies in Italy.
I worked with the publisher De Agostini and with the Cuboimages agency in Milan. In 2012 two of my photographic exhibitions were set up in Rome: 'RED' displayed images with dominances in red color, 'UNESCO' presented World Heritage sites.

In 2014 the National Museum of Oriental Art in Rome hosted my black and white exhibition on Morocco, sponsored by the Embassy in Italy and inaugurated by its Ambassador, then it was visited by Embassies from other countries.

In the same year I joined a photographic project of the European Union in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture of the Algerian Republic: Algerian and European photographers, me for Italy, were invited to photograph Constantine, the third city of Algeria, "Capital of Arab Culture 2015". The images were published in a book and exhibited in Constantine, Algiers and at the headquarters of the European Parliament in Brussels.
In 2016 I made a video, with portraits of people from fifteen countries. The video, favorably received by the CEI in the Vatican, has been broadcasted several times by the catholic network Telepace.
