The Democratic Union of Pensioners and Retirees of Spain (UDP) and the General Foundation of the University of Salamanca sign today a agreement for collaboration to face the challenges inherent to the ageing of the population that society it`s facing today.
As a first initiative arising from the collaboration between the two entities, an awareness-raising and dissemination action entitled "Because age does not mean growing old, only growing up".
The objective is to sensitize society about the value of the elderly, teaching that we are all equal and that ageing is not a threat or a handicap if not the opposite and that it should be used by all.
