Meeting of researchers "Research and ageing: answers to give quality to life".
The General Foundation of the University of Salamanca, through the International Centre on Ageing (CENIE), has opened the deadline for the presentation of posters (scientific communications) explaining research projects, developed or under development, in the field of health or technological innovation aimed at improving the quality of life of older people.
The selected posters will form part of the exhibition that will accompany the Meeting of Researchers to be organised by CENIE on 4 June in Salamanca.
The Researchers' Meeting, entitled "Research and ageing: answers to give quality to life", whose objective is to know the work being carried out, both in Spain and Portugal, research centres, universities, companies and other entities, is aimed at a professional and/or academic public, however, any other person interested in the subject can attend. Admission is free until full capacity is reached (online registration will be launched in May 2019).
Parallel to the programme of the Meeting, a selection of research projects in the field of health or technological innovation aimed at improving the quality of life of the elderly will be presented. The selection of posters to be exhibited will be carried out by a Scientific Committee.
From the selected posters, the Scientific Committee will choose the three that it considers of greater relevance so that the authors can present them during the Researchers' Meeting, where they will come with the travel and accommodation expenses covered by the organization.
This activity is part of the Interreg V-A Cooperation Programme, Spain-Portugal (POCTEP), 2014-2020, financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union.
Deadline for registration: The deadline for its presentation will be from 14 December 2018 to 15 March 2019 at 14:59h. Papers received after this date will not be accepted.
