We are adding a new series of infographics to the blog where we will illustrate the latest technologies in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and explain their applications in different fields and areas of action. Currently there are so many applications that it is not an easy task to describe each one of them, therefore, in this series and through different approaches we will see the latest developments in a simple and visual way available to everyone.

There are several problems of artificial vision, such as classification, detection, or segmentation, and all of them share something in common and that is that for an artificial vision system to be able to recognise objects, it has to be trained before, so how do we get "a computer" to recognise objects? We explain in a very didactic and simple way how an artificial vision system is trained.

The term Internet of things (IoT) is used to describe the set of devices with the ability to connect to each other through wifi networks or bluethoot systems, among other connectivity technologies.
These devices, also called "smart", exchange data and facilitate automation or remote access to tasks in different environments (industry, office, home automation, transport and logistics, etc.), such as being able to regulate the thermostat of a home heating system via a mobile app, use voice assistants or smart TVs, among others.
