“Age does not define us. Our gaze does.”

On one of the key factors derived from the continuous growth in longevity: intergenerationality. Nowadays, four or five generations coincide in the same space of time. And not on a one-off basis, as was the case years ago, but on an increasingly daily and universal basis.

This is why, over the years, we have chosen different themes to highlight the value of long-lived societies and their protagonists through photography of everyday subjects: "intergenerational relations: source of vitality", "long lives: constant vitality" and "longevity: the positive sum of life", among others.

This call, with the motto “Age does not define us. Our gaze does, promotes a renewed vision of longevity: not as an individual issue or a demographic statistic, but as a structural dimension of our societies and an opportunity to reimagine time, relationships, and ways of living.
